Cocktail Masters: How to Mix a G-Spot CocktailThirst Bar

Ingredients

  • Hendricks Gin
  • Elderflower Cordial
  • Fresh Cucumber
  • Fresh Lemon
  • St. Germain
  • Sugar Syrup

Where there is a Happy Hour, there’s bound to be a cocktail on offer. The two go together like Bonnie and Clyde. We’ve enjoyed enough Happy Hours to know that there are cocktails, and then there are cocktails.

We’ve persuaded our favourite mixologists to disclose the secrets of their signature cocktail to our MappiHour followers. What follows is the recipe and method to create one of the incredible Thirst Bar of Soho’s coveted G-Spot cocktails. A fresh, gin based infusion that you can drink all night. Give it a go yourself, or better still, head to Greek Street at Happy Hour time to sample the real thing.

Step 1

Add a few coarsely chopped pieces of fresh cucumber to a chilled Boston glass

Step 2

Add sugar strop to taste and muddle

Step 3

Add a fresh lemon to taste and 20mL of Elderflower cordial and muddle

Step 4

Add 40 mL of Hendricks Gin

Step 5

Add 10 mL of St. Germain

Step 6

Add ice and shake vigorously

Step 7

Double strain on a tall glass of your choice filled with crushed ice to the top

To finish

Garnish in any way using fresh cucumber
